Category Account Manager

, ,Position Overview
Category Account Manager will be the complete business owner or his or her categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business (this entails owning, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the category)
Responsibilities
- Owning sourcing and vendor management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, team building and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines.
- Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments
- Manage seller relationships and day-to-day negotiations
- Delivering Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual - Revenue, Margin
- Understanding market opportunities and launching new products to scale the category
- Assist in making agreements and penalty clauses.
Requirement
- 3-6 years of relevant Category Management experience preferably Home Décor, Kitchen & Dining, Lamps & Lighting and Furniture.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive results
- Good interpersonal skills and impeccable written and oral communication skills
- Good business judgment, prioritization, focus and ability to multi-task and work in a highly charged environment
- Intelligent and self-motivated; should be willing to work hard to achieve and exceed targets
